Back Spain Tourism Board targets MICE Our Bureau
Chennai , March 2 SPAIN Tourism Board is on a road-show to promote MICE (meetings, incentives, conference and exhibition) tourism from India to Spain. Ms Paloma Notario, Director - New Markets, Spain Tourism Board, said that Chennai was the second stop after Mumbai and the roadshow will be held in Bangalore and New Delhi. The objective of the show is to draw the attention of the corporates to the major cities such as Madrid and Barcelona. She said that Spain is second only to US as a MICE destination and on the leisure segment was second to France. She said that Spain has over 40 convention centres.
