Four youth die in separate incidents

BANGALORE, MARCH 4. Four youths died in separate incidents reported in the city since Thursday night. While one allegedly committed suicide, another was electrocuted. The other two were killed in road accidents.

K.W. Aiyappa, 21, allegedly committed suicide on Thursday by hanging himself in his house in Tavarakere in Madivala police station limits.

The police said Aiyappa, having recently completed his PUC, went for an interview in Yeshwantpur on Thursday. His sister, working in a call centre, returned home on Friday morning. When her knocks on the door did not get any response, she opened a window of the bedroom to see her brother hanging from a fan.

Nineteen-year-old Ramesh was electrocuted on Thursday night when he came in contact with a live wire while tying a banner in Seeta Circle in Girinagar police station limits.

A 21-year-old coolie was killed when a private bus hit his bicycle near the LIC office on N.R. Road in Ulsoor Gate police station limits on Thursday. The police gave the name of the victim as Sentil, a native of Thiruvannamalai in Tamil Nadu.

Manoj, 25, was killed when a BMTC bus knocked down the motorcycle he was riding on Challaghatta Road in Airport traffic police station limits on Thursday night
