Back Narmathaa Textiles sets up processing unit at Erode

THE Chennai-based Narmathaa Textiles Ltd has set up an integrated modern textile-processing unit in Erode district.

The new facility has been created with aninvestment of Rs 45 crore at Suriyampalayam village near Erode for yarn and fabric dyeing, printing including colour-matching at international standards. The sophisticated yarn and knit/woven fabric dyeing lines set up at the new plant have a capacity to process five tonnes (yarn) and 5.5 tonnes per day respectively, according to Mr A.R. Venkatesh, Director, Narmathaa Textiles Ltd.

Narmathaa Textiles proposes to set up its own garment manufacturing facility within the processing unit premises at Erode. The company, which has proposed to set up 400 stitching machine for its garmenting unit, will produce 6,000 pieces of garments per day, Mr Venkatesh said.
