MANGALORE: The Chairman and Managing Director of Syndicate Bank, Mr K. Kantha Kumar, will release a book on `Indian banks: Profitability, popularity and publicity' — authored by the former Syndicate Bank CMD, Dr N.K. Thingalaya — at Manipal in Udupi district on March 10.

A press release by the Justice K.S. Hegde Institute of Management, the publishers of the book, said here on Wednesday that the book is based on the extensive research of annual reports of 54 Indian banks. Dr Thingalaya is the Chairman of the Academic Council of Justice K.S. Hegde Institute of Management at Nitte in Udupi district.
