HYDERABAD, MARCH 10. An inmate of Chanchalguda prison, Syed Ismail, 45, died in the early hours of Thursday. Ismail, who was facing trial in a theft case, complained of chest pain and was rushed to the Osmania General Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

A native of Indiranagar in Kurnool district, Ismail was arrested in a theft case by the Vikarabad police and lodged in Chanchalguda jail on November 6, 2004.
