The city recorded a maximum temperature of 33.0 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 20.9 degrees Celsius on Thursday. The relative humidity was 34 per cent.

At the airport, the maximum temperature was 32.4 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature was 19.6 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity was 38 per cent.

The forecast for Friday is: the sky will be partly cloudy and the maximum temperature will be 33 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature 21 degrees Celsius.

Dental camp

Telecast

The Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry has made arrangements to show the telecast of the State budget presentation at 12.30 p.m. on Friday. This is open to traders and those in the industry sector and professionals.

Audition

Kalari Academy of Performing Arts will conduct an audition for dancers at 4.30 p.m. on March 12 and at 10.30 a.m. on March 13 on the academy premises at No 25, VN Plaza, Bazaar Street, Brigade Cross Road, in the city.

Felicitation

To mark the 70th birthday of poet Nisar Ahmed, the Prof. K.S. Nisar Ahmed Felicitation Committee will organise a programme on Saturday to honour the poet. The former Chief Minister M. Veerappa Moily, will inaugurate the programme, which includes a seminar, a poet's meet and an exhibition on Nisar's works. The programme to be held at the Ravindra Kalakehstra will start at 9 a.m.

Kalasangama

The Nettur Technical Training Foundation (NTTF) will conduct a three-day cultural festival, Kalasangama 2005, for its students from March 11 on the institute premises in Electronics City.

Over 400 students from all the 16 NTTF centres in the country will participate in the event, NTTF Director (Training) K. Venugopal, said.
