Back Doctor duo bags award

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The husband-wife duo of Dr K. Venugopal, District TB Officer, Alappuzha, and Dr P.R. Sreelatha, Assistant Professor of Paediatrics, Kottayam, have won the British Columbia Lung Association's International Award.

The award carries a cash prize of $4,400. They were selected for the award on the basis of the three operational research papers presented by them at the Ninth Annual Conference of the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease of the North American Region held in Canada from February 23 to 27.
