Back Award for DRDL scientist

HYDERABAD: Mr R.N. Bhattacharjee, Senior Scientist at the Defence Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL), has been honoured for his contribution to Rockets and related technologies (Rocketry) for the year 2003 by the Astronautical Society of India. This carries a cash prize of Rs 25,000.

The DRDL scientist has carried out research in the areas of systems design, modelling, guidance and control systems for Akash, Nag and Trishul missiles, according to a statement from DRDL.
