Filmi designs

FASHION STORE Kimaya has once again created ripples in the Capital's style arena by launching well-known Bollywood costume designer, Anna Singh's collection. Anna says its highlight is the colour palette used in saris and kurtis. "I want to carry the label forward. After Mumbai and Delhi, Dubai is my next destination." The collection was altogether a different one, designed for people from all age groups. The use of crochet, wrinkled fabrics and crepe along with the combination of bright colours made the collection look stylish and trendy. Actors like Salman Khan, Ajay Devgan, Jackie Shroff, Ashmit Patel, Chunky Pandey, Ashish Chowdhary were seen at the launch the other day. Also present were designer Rohit Bal and former cricketer Atul Wasan.

"Anna is a very good designer and a good friend of mine. She redefined costume designing in the film industry at a time when there were no designers, just young tailors," recalls Salman.

Congratulating Anna, Pradeep Hirani, CEO, Kimaya, says, "Anna's entry into Kimaya is a continuation of our quest to provide a platform to fashion talent across the nation."
