Back MPs for setting up of `energy forum'

TWELVE Members of Parliament, including the former Power Minister, Mr Suresh Prabhu, have sought the setting up of an `energy forum' in the Lok Sabha.

The forum, to consist of select and senior Parliamentarians, will suggest modifications in the existing Electricity Act 2003 and enable the framing of an integrated power policy to harness sources of non-conventional energy.
