Back New director for NITK

MANGALORE: Dr H.V. Sudhaker Nayak, Professor of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, has been appointed Director (additional charge) of National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) at Surathkal in Mangalore consequent to Prof S.S. Murthy being relieved as per the orders from the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development, according to a press release here. Prof Nayak was the Registrar of the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum, during 2002-04.
