Back Tsunami alert

Fishing vessels did not venture into the sea on Tuesday and remained berthed at Munambam fishing harbour near Kochi, following the tsunami alert. Many boats were damaged in the recent tsunami attack. Fishermen, mostly from Tamil Nadu, returned soon after the official tsunami alert was sounded. The hospitality industry, which is also to recover fully from the tragedy, was put on alert and moved their guests to safe places. — H. Vibhu
