Back SBT hikes NRI deposit rates

THIRUVANATHAPURAM: State Bank of Travancore (SBT) has raised the interest rates for NRE savings bank, FCNR (expect pound sterling), RFC and NRE term deposits with effect from April 1.

The new interest rate for RFC deposits for one year to less than two years is 3.60 per cent, two years to less than three years is 4.05 per cent and three years is 4.25 per cent.
