BANGALORE, APRIL 7. Air India office here said it was fully geared up to meet any increase in demand for tickets on Friday as a bandh has been called by the Travel Agents Association. The ticketing office of Air India will issue tickets at "competitive market fare" to ensure that passengers are not inconvenienced in any way, an airline spokesperson said. Some travel agencies had said they would remain open. The facility to issue tickets at "market fare" at Air India offices would continue even after the bandh. Travel agents have been at loggerheads with Air India after the airline decided to cut its commission to them, to offset increased operational costs.
