KOLKATA:, The Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) will be sending projects worth Rs. 7,000 crores for approval of the board of the Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) this fiscal. Addressing a press conference here, the BSL Managing Director, U. P. Singh, said upgradation of a blast furnace and setting up of new facilities would be covered under this capital expenditure plan for which in-principle approval would be sought. The plant is slated to implement a capex of Rs. 10,000 crores by 2011-12 under SAIL's corporate plan.
