Short spell of rain in Bellary

BELLARY, APRIL 8. After a gap of about a week, Bellary experienced a bout of rainfall on Friday.

The pre-monsoon rainfall lasted for a brief period, but failed to reduce the temperature in the city.

Though the rainfall brought a temporary respite from the heat, the temperature remained high.

Power shutdown during the day increased the discomfort caused by the high temperature and humidity.
