Policemen injured in clash at jallikattu

TIRUCHI, APRIL 10 . A Sub-Inspector of Police, Bharathidasan, sustained head injuries while two Head Constables suffered minor injuries as they attempted to quell a clash that broke out between two groups at a jallikattu held at Sengurichi village near Manikandam in the district this evening.

Bharathidasan, Vasu and Karthik were admitted to a private hospital here. Police personnel were posted at the village as a precautionary measure.
