Back Award for rice scientist

HYDERABAD: Dr B. Mishra, Project Director, Directorate of Rice Research (DRR), here, has been selected for the Dr Richharia national award for excellence in rice research.

The award has been specially instituted by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), during the International Year of Rice-2004. The ICAR and DRR had organised a series of activities during the year, according to a press release.
