Shammi, Kohli shine

NEW DELHI, APRIL 12. Half-centuries by Shammi (71) and Virat Kohli (70 n.o.) helped Pahari Dhiraj Club beat Subhania Club by 60 runs in the Super Elite group II match in the DDCA cricket league here.

Super Elite-II: Pahari Dhiraj Club 248 for five in 40 overs (Shammi 71, Virat Kohli 70 n.o., Bhupinder Lingwal 58) bt Subhania Club 188 for six in 36 overs (Rajiv 69, Akash 48 n.o., Ankit Rawat three for 15).

Super Elite-I: RCN Club 141 for nine in 35 overs (Imran 29, Rajeev Kumar three for 21, Ram Prakash three for 18) lost to Century Club 144 for four in 24.4 overs (Ashok 47 n.o. Ram Prakash 41, Akash Ohlyan three for 32).

S. B. Youth 158 for seven in 35 overs (Ashok Chaddha 49, Ram Beniwal 34) lost to Mohan Meakins 159 for five in 31.3 overs (Abnesh Sharma 33, Abhishek Kapoor 29).
