MANGALORE: Reliance Infocomm has brought 200 towns in the State under its mobile network. Another 100 towns in the State would be brought under the network soon, according to Viney Singh, Chief Executive Officer, Karnataka Circle. He told presspersons here on Friday that the telecom company had planned to reach out to 5,860 villages in the State under its phase II expansion plan which would be completed soon. When this expansion is completed Reliance mobile services would reach out to two crore population. He said the company's mobile network had covered major commercial towns, pilgrimage and tourist centres and important towns in the coastal belt. Katil, Gokarna and Murudeshwar have been covered now and Dharmasthala would be covered soon. All important towns from Mangalore to Karwar have been covered.
