Inflation moves up to 5.26 p.c.

NEW DELHI: With price increases witnessed in most of the major commodities like fruits and vegetables, aviation fuel and manufactured products such as sugar, inflation as measured by the Wholesale Price Index (WPI) moved up to 5.26 per cent in the first week ended April 2 of the new financial year.

At this level, the WPI point-to-point inflation was up marginally for the week. — Special Correspondent
