Three of family die in roof collapse

MAHABUBNAGAR: Three members of a family, including a three-year-old girl, died when the roof of their house collapsed at Venkayapalli village in Timmajipet mandal in the early hours of Sunday. A girl was rescued by villagers from the debris.

According to information, Lakshmamma (70), her son Krishnaiah (28), grand daughter Jeevita (3) and another girl were asleep when the roof collapsed due to heavy rain the previous day. The TRS MLA from Jedcharla, C. Lakshma Reddy, visited the village and consoled members of the family. He also promised all possible help to them from the Government.
