Letters to the Editor
Hearing Gen. Musharraf during his visit to India was a pleasant surprise. He did bring up the Kashmir issue but he did not ignore others altogether. Interestingly, he was all for letting the geo-economics of the day guide relations between the two neighbours.
Rajesh Kumar,
The Indian Government should continue to stress bilateral trade issues and increasing people-to-people contacts.
Prasoon Kumar,
The proposed Joint Business Council, the gas pipeline from Iran to India through Pakistan and the various confidence-building measures will certainly give a fillip to the economies of the two South Asian neighbours.
