KVB revises FCNR, NRE rates

CHENNAI: : Karur Vysya Bank has revised the FCNR rates for dollar deposits upwards. For 1-2 years, the bank offers 3.81 per cent against 3.48 per cent earlier and for 2-3 years to 4.13 per cent (3.71 per cent). For a three year deposit, the rate has been raised to 4.23 per cent from 3.90 per cent. On NRE deposits, the bank has increased the rate for one year to below two years to 4.60 per cent from 4.20 per cent, for two years to below three years 4.90 per cent from 4.50 per cent and for deposits of three years and above to 5 per cent from 4.70 per cent.
