HYDERABAD: The Bharatiya Janata Party has urged the Government to immediately convene an all-party meeting to evolve a consensus on the State's stand to be presented to the new Krishna Waters Dispute Tribunal (KWDT). The party leaders -- S.V. Seshagiri Rao and K. Laxman -- want the Government to proceed carefully this time while presenting the State's case. At a press conference on Wednesday, they said that the failure to present the State's case before the last tribunal had led to inclusion of an `obnoxious clause' that 35 tmcft be given to Karnataka when the Polavaram project received Central clearance.
