Northgate registers larger income

HYDERABAD: Northgate BPO Services, which operates in one segment only, that of services export, has made a head way in the U.S. market by getting 20 per cent of its annual turnover from `online advertising' and 75 per cent from telecom services, according to Venkat S. Meenavalli. For the year ended March, it has reported total income of Rs. 50.95 crores (Rs. 8.31 crores), and a net profit of Rs. 7.36 crores (Rs. 99 lakhs). For the quarter ended March, income was Rs. 20 crores (Rs. 3 crores) and a net profit Rs. 3.67 crores (Rs. 67 lakhs). Mr. Meenavalli said in a press release that the drivers of growth would be online advertising, new services and launch of its globally patented Globe7 SIP services. He said 8 out of top 10 online advertising companies are partners of Axill Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary of Northgate.
