Unichem's Baddi unit on stream

MUMBAI: Unichem Laboratories has announced the production of its second unit at Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. According to a BSE release, this non anti-biotic unit is to set up with an investment of Rs. 35 crores and has a capacity to produce 950 million tablets and 250 million capsules annually on single shift basis. The non anti-biotic unit has been set up adjacent to the already existing anti-biotic facility of Unichem at Baddi set up in 1998.
