NEW DELHI: Adobe Systems Inc has announced the promotion of Mr Naresh Gupta to the post of Senior Vice-President.

Mr Gupta joined Adobe in 1996 as a member of the corporate research group where his work resulted in five patent applications. In 1998 he relocated to India to begin building an Adobe Research and Development centre and became managing director for Adobe Systems India Pvt. Ltd.

Mr Gupta is expected to relocate from India to the company's headquarters in San Jose, California.
