bmi to launch service from May 14

MUMBAI: The second-largest full service airline in the U.K., bmi, will launch its service from London Heathrow to Mumbai four times a week from May 14.

This will signal the entry of bmi's long haul flights and competitive fares between London and Mumbai.

The services to Mumbai will operate on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday with return services to London on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

The introductory fares start from Rs. 26,500.
