Back Taj GVK Hotels Q4 net up 60 pc

TAJ GVK Hotels and Resorts Ltd has recorded a growth of 32 per cent in total income and 60 per cent in net profit for the fourth quarter of fiscal ended March 2005. The board has recommended a dividend of 45 per cent for the year.

As per the financial results approved by the company, it has achieved a total income of Rs 35.26 crore and a net profit of Rs 7.1 crore during the quarter compared to income of Rs 26.75 crore and profit of Rs 4.44 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

For the fiscal ended March 2005, the company reported a growth of 32 per cent in total income at Rs 116.1 crore (Rs 88.1 crore) and 74 per cent in net profit at Rs 22.09 crore (Rs 12.71 crore).
