Panther cub dies in zoo

TIRUPATI: A panther cub died at the Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park here while undergoing treatment on Tuesday. The cub, which had strayed from the nearby forest and fell into a dry well near Bangarupalyam recently, was rescued by the villagers and shifted to the zoo where it succumbed to injuries.
