Back Punjab Tractors profit jumps Our Bureau
The net profit, despite pressure from rising input costs, grew by 26 per cent to Rs 21.1 crore in the quarter against Rs 16.7 crore. Expenditure on raw materials, however, increased to Rs 176.58 crore from Rs 136.89 crore. For 2004-05, its net profit grew by 49.6 per cent to Rs 62.9 crore from Rs 42.02 crore the previous year. The total income grew by 43 per cent last fiscal to Rs 863 crore from Rs 603.3 crore in 2003-04.
