Back Paper Products profit dips

MUMBAI: Paper Products Ltd (PPL), a leading flexible packaging company, achieved gross sales of Rs 115.9 crore in the quarter ended March 31.

Excluding excise duty and sales tax amounting to Rs 14.8 crore, net sales during the quarter was Rs 101.10 crore representing a growth of four per cent over Rs 96.8 crore in the corresponding period last year.

The profit before tax was Rs 8.29 crore compared to Rs 9.34 crore in the first quarter last year, a company release said.
