Cognizant's Q1 income up

CHENNAI: Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation, a provider of IT services, reported a revenue of $181.7 million for the first quarter ended March 2005, up from $119.7 million in the same quarter last year. Net income increased to $32 million ($19.8 million). The operating margin for the quarter increased to 20.5 per cent from 19.8 per cent.
