Back Dredging Corporation net falls

HYDERABAD: Dredging Corporation of India Ltd has announced a fall in both income and net profit for both the quarter and year ended March 2005.

As per the unaudited results for the quarter, the company has posted a net profit of Rs 33.01 crore compared with Rs 49.39-crore for the corresponding quarter in the previous fiscal.

The total income has decreased from Rs 161.85 crore in fourth quarter of previous fiscal to Rs 145 crore during the quarter under review.

For the fiscal, the company has posted a net profit of Rs 111.36 crore as compared with Rs 170.02 crore in the previous fiscal. The total income has decreased to Rs 546.1 crore from Rs 560.93 crore.
