Hailstorm hits traffic on NH

RAJAHMUNDRY: Thunderbolts followed by hailstorm disrupted normal life in East Godavari district on Friday evening. According to reports reaching here from different parts of the district, traffic on the National Highway near Tuni was disrupted as the big trees, which were uprooted, blocked the way.

Passengers travelling in RTC and private carriers were stranded for more than two hours. Similar reports were received from Amalapuram, Samalkot, Ramachandrapuram and other areas of the district.
