Villagers detain RDO, officials

KARIMNAGAR: Villagers, along with supporters of the Telugu Desam Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party, detained the Manthani RDO and mandal-level officers in the ZP High School for over four hours when they visited the village on Friday to participate in the Praja Patham programme, demanding compensation for farmers who have lost their chilli crop in the recent hailstorm in Mallaram village of Malhar mandal.
