Creative avenues in craft
The Madras Craft Foundation is offering an opportunity to learn various arts and crafts through its Arts Management and Education Intern Programme which will be conducted at DakshinaChitra. The 10-month course aims to acquaint participants with culture, art and craft, management and event planning, graphics, writing and publicity skills. The course will run from June 2005 to April 2006 and is open to graduates of any stream. Selected candidates will be paid a stipend of Rs. 3,000 per month. Hostel facilities are also available.
