New art gallery

Young talent Carmelo Weerasekera's The Girl, acrylic and oil on canvas

Lakshana Art Gallery now has opened its new place called Lakshana Arts - II at 19, Yamuna Bai Road, Madhava Nagar. The new gallery was inaugurated by M.B. Basavaraju, Chairman, Karanataka Lalith Kala Academy. The new gallery is managed by N. Sadhana, an artist who has been in the field of canvases and paints for the last 15 years.

The new gallery, along with the Bangalore Art Foundation, hosting its maiden show, titled Young Strokes, curated by M.G. Doddamani, featuring paintings and graphics by 27 young artists. The works can be viewed till May 10 from 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.
