Zak Jewels 2005 will showcase a wide variety

It is an ideal destination for those who love to buy jewellery. "Zak Jewels — 2005" will showcase different varieties of jewellery under one roof. There will be some unusual creations in gold, silver, diamond, platinum, gems and pearls.

To be held from today till May 11 at the Park Sheraton, the Zak fair will bring the finest craftsmen in the field to display traditional as well as contemporary designs.

Organised by Zak Trade Fairs and Exhibitions, the exhibition has travelled to several cities. In Chennai, it coincides with Akshaya Thrithiya (May 11), when people consider it auspicious to buy jewellery.

From regular to occasion wear, the collections — bridal, traditional, antique, gift, casual, men's and contemporary, offer jewellery lovers a wide choice. There is also a special range for children.

Necklaces, pendants, coins, precious and semi-precious stones, bangles, kundan, Mughal and enamelled jewellery are also available.

The fair is open from 2.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on May 7 and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on other days.
