MADURAI: Madurai district won the overall championship with a total of 94 points in the Madurai regional private industrial training centres' athletic meet here on Thursday.

Boys: 100m: Pradeepan; 200m: Vinoth; 400m, 800m & 1500m: Sahayaraj; long jump: M. Dilip Kumar; high jump: J. Jacko; shot put: Senthur Pandian; javelin: P. Jothilingam; 4x100m relay: Loyola ITC, Mdu.

Girls: 100m: K. Parimala; 200m: M. Mercy; long jump: K. Parimala; high jump: M. Mercy; shot put: S. Christy; 4x100m relay: St. Mary's ITC.
