Driver found dead

BANGALORE: A driver of a tourist van, Shanmugam, 32, died reportedly of a heart attack in Madiwala police station limits on Saturday. The police said the tourists, who returned after shopping, found the driver dead inside the vehicle around 3 p.m.

Suicide

A 32-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself at his house in Chikka Adugodi on Saturday, according to the Madiwala police.

The police said Dhanaraj was suffering from some disease.

Knocked down

A woman and her one-year-old daughter, who were travelling on a moped, were killed when a tempo knocked them down near the Rajajarajeshwari Nagar arch in Byatarayanapura traffic police station limits on Saturday. Police said Micheal (30), his wife Nagoma (23) and daughter, Sheebi were returning home. Micheal stopped the vehicle at a traffic signal near the arch. The tempo, which came from behind, hit the moped.
