Jewellery and wedding mall

KOCHI: Aerens Goldsouk, one of the leading real estate developers, on Wednesday announced the launch of a speciality mall in Kochi for jewellery and wedding shopping. Spread over 2.4 acres with a covered area of four lakh sq. ft., the Souk will have 157 shops with sizes ranging from 1,000 to 1,500 sq. ft. Each floor would have an anchor store of 10,000 sq. ft., said G. S. Pillai, director. Former chairman and managing director of Hudco, V. Suresh, said ten such souks were planned in the next five years at important cities. The Kochi project will have an investment of over Rs. 100 crores.
