Sun Micro to acquire Tarantella

NEW DELHI: Sun Microsystems will acquire the California-based software firm, Tarantella Inc, in a $25 million all-cash deal. The two companies on Wednesday announced that they had entered into a definitive agreement pursuant to which Sun will acquire Tarantella for cash purchase price of 90 cents per share and assumption of employee stock options.
