Sunita calls for calm

ANANTAPUR: The TDP candidate for the Penukonda Assembly by-election and widow of Paritala Ravindra, P. Sunita, called on the District Collector, Y.V. Anuradha, and the DIG of Anantapur Range, N. Jayarami Reddy, here on Wednesday and requested them to ensure a peaceful atmosphere in the constituency.

In separate memoranda submitted to the two officers, Ms. Sunita urged them to ensure an atmosphere where the TDP could conduct its campaigning without any fear from its political rivals.

She also requested the officials to ensure conditions in which the electorate could use its franchise without any fear.
