Porsche launches sports car

NEW DELHI: Hoping to cash in on the expanding luxury car market, the German car major, Porsche AG, on Thursday launched its sports car — 911 Carrera Cabriolet — here with a price tag of Rs. 75 lakhs onwards. The sports car will be imported from Stuttgart in Germany. Powered by 325 brake horsepower engine, acceleration time of 5.2 seconds from 0-100 km per hour and having the maximum speed limit of 285 km per hour, the car has smooth aerodynamics ensuring improved performance, more reliable handling at speed, lower interior noise and fuel consumption.
