Ashapura's alumina project in Gujarat

MUMBAI: Ashapura Minechem has received in-principle approval from the Gujarat Government to set up a one million tonne alumina project in Kutch, Gujarat. The Rs. 2,500-crore project is being set up in a 50:50 joint venture with Sichuan Aostar Aluminium Corporation (SAAC), a fully owned subsidiary of Sichuan Electric Power Corporation of China.
