Mahayagam from May 15

HYDERABAD: Sri Kalyana Kameswari Mahasamsthan at Ramagiri NFC Nagar, Ghatkesar, will conduct "Srimad Valmiki Ramayana Sampoorna Sloka Vahana Mahayagam" from May 15 to June 1. The timings will be 6 a.m. to 8.30 p.m., according to a press release issued here on Wednesday. The release said the mahayagam was being performed to protect people from natural calamities and droughts and to ensure their welfare and prosperity. Such yagams had been conducted four times earlier.

Sri Seetarama kalyanam, brahmotsavam of the goddess, Parvati kalyanam and Hanuman jayanti would also be organised along with the mahayagam.
