Sale of salwars

A trendy range of salwar kameezes in Mangalgiri cotton, Terrivoile and hakoba will be on sale today and tomorrow at Coonoor Hall in Nilgiri's Nest, Avanashi Road.

The sets, both ready-to-wear and unstitched fabric, are part of designer Usha Sridhar's collection.

She has also used busylizy, denim, georgette, polysilk and handloom cotton with block prints, embroidery and kalamkari.

The creations in baby pinks, sky blue, red and other colours have been embellished with mirror and badla work.

Other ethnic varieties for the summer are also available at the sale, which is open from 10 a.m. to 8.30 p.m.

Prices range from Rs. 600 to Rs. 1,400.
