Kambli ready to act in Malayalam movies

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: : Cricketer Vinod Kambli has said he is ready to act in Malayalam movies.

Kambli, who was in the city on Sunday in connection with the shoot for the Hindi film, "Pal Pal Dil Ke Sath," directed by V. K. Kumar, said cricket was still his first love.

Kambli has been given the role of a storyteller in the film, in which another cricketer, Ajay Jadeja, plays the lead role.

He said he was confident of staging a comeback to the Indian squad soon.

"Let me tell you, I will definitely comeback.''

He said his performance in the Ranji Trophy was impressive, and he was concentrating on physical fitness.

He said he had enough offers from the tinselworld.
